Waiter / Waitress (15 Positions) - Shah Palace Hotel

Job Summary Our client, a luxury hotel in Zanzibar, is looking for 15 professional Waiters/Waitresses to deliver outstanding dining experiences by providing exceptional customer service, taking guest orders accurately, and ensuring food and beverages are served promptly and professionally. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.Present menus and explain food and beverage options.Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and resolving concerns.Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas before, during, and after service.Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.Follow hotel service standards and hygiene procedures at all times.Work closely with kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure smooth service.Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Supervisor. Qualifications & Requirements Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, Hotel Management, or a related field.Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or resort.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Professional appearance and positive attitude.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an added advantage.Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
