• Professional Data: Resumes/CVs, employment history, education, certifications, and portfolio related to the hospitality industry.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage analytics/logs.

3. Resume Storage and Profile Visibility

By uploading your resume or creating a candidate profile, you grant Safari Gigs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your professional information.

Employer Access: Your profile and resume may be searchable and viewable by verified employers and recruitment partners on our platform. We are not responsible for how third parties who access your information through the Services use or disclose your data.

Applications and voice interviews

When you apply, the hiring team for that vacancy can view your application and profile, including when your profile is hidden from public search. Safari Gigs may use automated tools to compare your application with the job requirements and select candidates for an interview. These assessments can be wrong. Contact us if you want an assessment reviewed. The employer makes the final hiring decision.

Before a voice interview begins, we explain that it is conducted by AI and ask for your agreement to recording and assessment. We use Google Cloud services to generate questions, transcribe answers and assess job-related evidence. Processing may take place outside Tanzania. The hiring team and authorized Safari Gigs administrators can access the interview evidence.

Interview recordings, transcripts and assessment notes are removed within 90 days. Your original application remains in your application history. You can withdraw from an interview, request deletion, or contact hello@safarigigs.com to discuss help or another interview arrangement.

4. Usage Analytics and Data Collection

We utilize analytics tools to understand how users interact with our platform. This allows us to improve functionality, personalize your experience, and optimize our services. We automatically collect data regarding your session, click patterns, and feature usage. This data may be aggregated and anonymized for business intelligence and reporting purposes.

5. Data Protection and Security

We implement robust industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can manage your profile settings directly within your account dashboard. For permanent account deletion or data export requests, please contact our support team.
