What the builder does

One profile supplies the details for your CV.

Safari Gigs does not ask you to maintain one story in your profile and another in a separate builder. The PDF uses the work and training details you have already chosen to save.

01

Build from your real profile

Your name, contact details, professional summary, work history, education, skills, languages, and certificates can appear in the generated CV.

02

Update it when your experience changes

Edit your profile, generate the PDF again, and keep the version saved to your account current before your next application.

03

Keep your own CV if you prefer it

Already have a CV you trust? Upload that file instead. Safari Gigs accepts PDF, DOCX, PNG, and JPEG files within the stated upload limit.

How to make your CV

From profile details to a saved PDF in three steps.

The strongest result comes from specific information. Add the work you actually did, the training you completed, and the details an employer needs to contact you.

  1. 01

    Open a job-seeker profile

Create a Safari Gigs account or sign in, then open your profile. Your CV stays connected to the same account you use for jobs and applications.

  2. 02

    Add the evidence employers need

Write a clear headline and summary. Add recent roles, responsibilities, education, useful skills, languages, and relevant licences or certificates.

  3. 03

    Generate, check, and download

Use Generate from profile in the CV section. Safari Gigs creates a PDF, saves it to your profile, and lets you download or replace it later.

What to add first

Make the first page easy for an employer to understand.

A useful CV is not a long list of adjectives. It gives the reader enough detail to understand the work you can do, the setting you know, and how to reach you.

Current contact details

Use the phone number, email address, city, and region where an employer can reach you now.

Work experience with context

Name the employer, role, dates, location, responsibilities, and a practical result or achievement when you can support it.

Education and training

Include the institution, course or qualification, field of study, and dates that support the work you want.

Role-specific skills

List the systems, tools, service tasks, kitchen work, guiding skills, or operational routines you have actually used.

Languages you can use at work

Add the languages that matter for guest service, guiding, reservations, teamwork, or local operations.

Relevant certificates and licences

Add hospitality training, food safety, first aid, driving, guiding, or other credentials that relate to the role.

Use the CV with a real application

Generate the file, then tailor the message around the job.

The PDF gives you a consistent starting point. Before applying, read the job description again and make sure your profile, availability, documents, and application answers match the role you are sending them for.

Common questions

Before you generate your CV

Is the Safari Gigs CV maker free?

Creating a job-seeker profile and generating its PDF CV currently has no separate CV-maker charge. Optional services elsewhere on Safari Gigs may have their own terms.

Can I upload a CV I already have?

Yes. In the CV section of your profile, you can upload a supported file instead of generating one from your Safari Gigs details.

Can I change the CV after I generate it?

Update the information in your profile and generate the PDF again. The new file is saved to your profile so you can download and use the current version.

Can I generate the CV in English or Kiswahili?

Yes. Choose English or Kiswahili on Safari Gigs before generating the file. The CV section headings follow the language you selected.

Start with your real experience

Create the profile once, then turn it into a CV you can keep current.

Add the facts an employer needs, generate the PDF, and return to update it as your work and training change.
