People and Culture Officer - Talent Acquisition

Develop and implement the pre-opening recruitment plan in alignment with the approved manpower budget and project timeline. Update, promote, and maintain the company’s online recruitment portal to ensure accuracy, visibility, and an excellent candidate experience. Coordinate mass recruitment campaigns, job fairs, and local sourcing activities. Support Department Heads in review the job structure and job descriptions, candidate screening, interviews, and selection. Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and reports for management updates. Collaborate directly with hospitality colleges and institutions to implement trainee programs, apprenticeships, and internship opportunities locally and internationally. Create and maintain and maintain seasonal employee and casual database for operation need Coordinate with immigration and labor authorities for permits, licenses, and employment documentation. Facilitate pre-opening onboarding, induction, and training sessions for all new hires. Ensure compliance with brand standards, local employment laws, and company policies. Build a positive and collaborative pre-opening team culture focused on inclusion and respect. Daily Operational Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checks, and job offers. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hospitality training colleges, both within and outside the country, to source skilled candidates and promote the hotel as an employer of choice. Create and maintain a database of seasonal and casual employees to support peak operational periods. Build a talent pipeline through continuous networking, referrals, and proactive outreach. Organize and conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires. Monitor probation periods and coordinate follow-up on performance evaluations and confirmations. Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives. Work closely with Learning & Development on career growth and succession planning initiatives. Prepare and submit monthly recruitment and turnover reports for management review. Ensure compliance with all labor laws, company policies, and ethical recruitment standards. Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity in all dealings with candidates and employees.
