Job description

Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following proper procedures. Ensure cleanliness of floors, walls, and surfaces in the back-of-house areas. Handle waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of garbage areas. Assist in deep cleaning tasks in kitchens and storage areas. Ensure proper storage of clean equipment and maintain organized workstations. Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP). Operate dishwashing machines, monitor temperature and chemical levels. Report any damages or malfunctioning equipment. Support chefs by ensuring availability of clean tools during service.

Requirements

Basic education - Form four or standard seven Previous experience in stewarding is an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards. Physically fit and able to lift or move heavy items when required.
